CME Wins New Contract to Integrate/Test and Manufacture New Multi-Purpose Digital Oil System Indicators for C-130 Aircraft
September, 2018. Custom Manufacturing & Engineering, Inc. (CME), Pinellas Park, FL, has been awarded a new Defense Logistics Agency Aviation contract on behalf of the U.S. Air Force to develop, integrate/test, and deliver new digital style Multi-Type 2 Indicators for C-130 aircraft. These cockpit instruments are dual-configuration multiple oil system indicators. In the engine/gearbox pressure (EGP) configuration, the indicator displays both the engine section oil pressure and gearbox section oil pressure. In the oil quantity/temp/flap (QTF) configuration, the indicator displays the oil quantity, oil temperature, and oil cooler flap position. Both configurations display these parameters in digital and bar graph format on an electronic display.

CME is working with its teammate to create a new system to be fully integrated for validation will provide an order of magnitude productivity improvement for much needed corrosion mapping of large scale infrastructure and inspection zones enabling rapid, targeted corrosion control maintenance of vital infrastructure and supporting condition based monitoring of these critical assets.

CME Receives AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 Registration
April 2018. CME is proud to announce the company’s Quality Management System Certification has upgraded to AS9100 Revision D (AS9100D) with ISO 9001:2015 following an audit conducted by NSF-ISR Registrar. The new certification incorporates the full ISO 9001:2015 standards of quality management and assurance into the AS9100D certification process. The AS9100D Certification is a standardized quality management and quality assurance system specifically developed for the aviation, space and defense industry sectors. CME’s has 22 years of dedicated experience providing and maintaining high-quality industry standards and processes.

CME Receives Automotive Test Set Cable Assembly Award
August 2017. CME's Cable & Wire Harness manufacturing department recently received two orders to assemble dynamometer test cables in support of an Automotive OEM's operations. As a company specializing in custom test set development and cable and wire harness production, CME's experience is well-suited to building these specialized cable assemblies.
CME Receives Additional US Air Force ADTS 415F Delivery Order Award for $1.42M
August 2017. An additional production order has been placed for the new ADTS 415F Air Data Test Sets as part of CME's ongoing IDIQ prime contract with US Air Force. The ADTS 415F is a self-contained, portable test set with integral pressure/vacuum supplies, housed in a single military standard enclosure and is ideal for calibration and simulation on the flight line. The ADTS 415F is a twin-channel Ps and Pt pressure control system used for the precision calibration/verification of aircraft pitot statics, compliant with user validation of airframe RVSM requirements.

CME exhibited and met with Automotive OEMs and many tiers and other suppliers about our manufacturing and engineering services to international customers as well as highlighting in-house capabilities for producing rugged electrical/electronic cable harnesses and other components.
