Industrial 3-D Printing that Survives the Shop Floor
CME delivers engineering-grade FDM / FFF 3D printing for everything from simple brackets to complex electro-mechanical assemblies — built in carbon-fiber nylon, polycarbonate, and ASA, and shipped on prototype timelines..

✔ Manufacture Build to Print or Specification
✔ "Ruggedization" Manufacturing
✔ 3+ decades of helping our customers solve their complex manufacturing problems
✔ Our industry leading QMS certifications reduce costly delays for your production needs
✔ CMMC Level 2 Compliant
Additive Manufacturing Partners, Not Just a Print Queue
Whether you need a fast prototype, a manufacturing aid, or a strong end-use part, our team speaks your language — tolerances, load cases, and lead times included.

  • 3D Printed Tooling Built to Take Abuse: Jigs, fixtures, assembly tooling, manufacturing aids, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) engineered to withstand daily shop-floor punishment — at a fraction of the cost and lead time of machined equivalents.
  • FDM Prototypes You Can Actually Test: High-fidelity functional prototypes that stand up to rigorous stress and thermal testing, so you validate the design before committing to mass production.
  • Drone and Robotics Parts that are Light, Rigid, Mission-Specific:  Lightweight, rigid drone frames and custom gear housings, plus purpose-built and adapted grippers and EOAT for robotic and collaborative robot (cobot) arms.
These are the jobs where additive manufacturing does not just match traditional manufacturing — it beats it on cost, speed, or both.
3d Printed Jigs, Fixtures, & Assembly-Line Tooling
  • Jigs, fixtures, framing, and guide blocks with quick, low-cost turnaround
  • Inspection fixtures tailored to a single part number
  • End-of-arm tooling adapted to your existing robot cells
End-Use and Low-Volume Production Parts
  • End-use functional parts for low-volume runs that cannot justify metal or injection-mold tooling — brackets, clamps, alignment pins and locators, risers
  • Rapid design iterations so engineers can test three concepts in the time a vendor quotes one
  • Functional replacements for long-lead, high-cost components

FDM Materials for the Real Operating Environment

We print across the full FDM material landscape — from accessible standard plastics to abrasive composites and high-temperature engineering thermoplastics. If you are unsure which fits your load case, tell us the application and we will recommend one.
Process Capabilities
  • Standard FDM — PLA, PETG
  • Flexible FDM — TPU
  • Structural Engineering FDM — ABS, ASA
  • High-Temp Engineering FDM — PC, Nylon / PA
  • Abrasive & Composite FDM — carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced polymers
  • Multi-Material Support FDM — co-printing with PVA and breakaway supports
Primary Filaments Supported-choosing between composites, nylon, polycarbonate

Strengths
Typical Applications
PA-CF / PA-GF
Exceptional tensile strength, stiffness, impact resistance, and thermal tolerance. The best all-round combination for demanding functional parts — in exchange for disciplined moisture management.
Structural components, functional gears, brackets
PETG-CF / PLA-CF

Standard plastics reinforced with carbon fiber for added rigidity, dimensional stability, and a premium matte finish. PLA-CF is the accessible entry point for stiff, lightweight parts in benign environments.
Tight-tolerance geometry, cosmetic functional parts
Unreinforced Nylon
Impact resistance and wear performance in applications where carbon-fiber composites are too brittle.
Wear surfaces, living hinges, high-impact parts
Polycarbonate (PC)
Stands alone for combined high-temperature and high-impact requirements — and demands the most from hardware and process control.
Heat-exposed enclosures, high-load structural parts
ABS & ASA

Tough engineering thermoplastics with strong heat and impact resistance.
Housings, fixtures, general structural work
UV-Resistant 3D Printing for Outdoor Parts
  • ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) — the first choice for outdoor use, with exceptional UV resistance, weather durability, and higher heat resistance than ABS.
  • PETG (including PETG-HF and translucent PETG) — naturally handles moisture and ultraviolet light well, making it a reliable, easier-to-print alternative for outdoor functional parts.
  • ASA-CF — a carbon-fiber-reinforced ASA that adds rigidity and structural strength while keeping the core UV resistance of the base material.
Skip the machining queue. 3D printed components frequently serve as direct, lower-cost replacements for machined aluminum parts and weak injection-molded plastics — without the tooling spend or the lead time.
