SALES ASSOCIATE - REQ. 423
JOB DESCRIPTION: Must have prior government sales experience. Prefer defense or military experience.
Achieves sales results. Individual must be a dynamic sales leader. Develops and manages day-to-day business relationships and opportunities. Coordinates with internal resources to capture new and follow-on business. Coordinates proposals. Maintains effective communication on all aspects of opportunity status including progress, problems, and appropriate resolutions. Follows goals set by management. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision.
REQUIRES: BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or other related field. 8+ years of related and proven experience developing and closing sales bookings of technical systems. Market and customer development. Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills. Strong proposal skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to build a bookings pipeline to meet objectives and goals for new and follow-on business.
PREFERRED: Knowledgeable in government and/or defense business development,
and in
power systems, power distribution equipment, and sensor technology.

- Security Clearance may be required for these positions.
